
He was as curious about me as I was about him.

He wanted to keep an eye on me.

Linda called the Fish and Game department. They told her it was uncommon for a bear to be in these parts. He is just passing through.

I think he's been doing a lot of traveling lately. He needed a nap before heading for the Santa Ritas.

He is unbearably cute. I need to go take more photos.

Wow! great photos of the huge bear. I would think he was hungry. You might have been prey. Our bears are black here in the Carolina's.
He was just a little guy. The black bears in Oregon are much bigger. I think he was a young one. He was a real sweetie, didn't seem the least bit aggressive, he just wanted a place to take a nap and Linda's house had the biggest trees in the area.
He is technically a black bear- but they come in a lot of different colors in Arizona. The blond and cinnamon colors are more prevalent in that area.
